RUNAWAY PRINCESS #1 Obsidian Requiem

It occurred to me that I had yet to experiment with a tunnel composition, prompting me to create an illustration depicting the interior of a Gothic-style structure. To add depth, I painted the distant center in bold blue hues that gradually lightened, suggesting an opening at the far end of the tunnel. Standing before a powerful black steed was a princess (I used Anya Taylor-Joy as my model), crowned in Baroque regalia and draped in a scarlet gown, poised to embark her escape. The work was framed from a slightly lower perspective, emphasizing the ascending sequence of the figure, the horse, and the architecture. The princess glances back with an expression of unease, evoking a tense narrative moment. The contrast was enhanced to highlight the interplay between the dramatic structure and the central figure. This marked my first attempt at integrating a character into a realistic environment, a process that needed further study and refinement.
